If you can answer that question definitively,
then you can probably also tell us who it was that put
the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong. There’s little
agreement on the definition of rock, much less the more
specialized genre of classic rock. Rock ‘n roll
appears in many dictionaries, but its definitions vary
substantially. It's important to make a distinction between
Classic Rock and Oldies. Classic Rock grew out of a radio
format that used to be called AOR -- Album Oriented Rock.
Classic Rock defines entire albums, whereas the Oldies
genre encompasses selected singles that were commercially
successful.

with electronics and all manner of special
effects to push pop formats to their outer

with lyricathemes and concepts of such

You could say it's an accident that I was
ideally suited for the work I am doing. It's the
feeling of a bowstring being pulled back for 22
years and suddenly being let go. I am primarily
an American, second, a Californian, third, a
Los Angeles resident. I've always been
attracted to ideas that were about revolt
against authority. I like ideas about the
breaking away or overthrowing of established
order. I am interested in anything about revolt,
disorder, chaos - especially activity that
seems to have no meaning. It seems to me to
be the road toward freedom - external revolt is
a way to bring about internal freedom.
